| The other day while listening to 96.9 FM Talk, Kevin Wall (Jay Severin substitute) was having a discussion about the Constitution in the age of Global Terror. It struck me how incredibly pathetic and sad how the liberal mind warps what should be an obvious reaction. The question: if you had information about an imminent terrorist attack that would kill Americans , would you invade people's civil rights (wiretap, spy, etc) in order to prevent it? The answer - obviously yes. You take any and all action to prevent savages - who aim to harm innocent civilians on our soil, from killing AMERICANS. I'm not saying that you don't take some due process measures when you have the time to do it - but a desperate action to save lives.
A pathetic loser who called himself a "soldier" called in - to bark about "code, honor and duty" that he is sworn to protect, and that he considers it acceptable to ALLOW INNOCENT AMERICANS ON OUR SOIL to die to protect his warped version of "civil rights". Lets get this straight - not two generations away from men who left their families to go fight and die on foreign shores - SOLDIERS brag about how they will let their fellow countrymen die to protect HIS SO CALLED CONSTITUTION. A soldiers primary duty is to defend his countrymen from harm. Not to the warped twisted infected liberal mind! No he GLOATS about how many innocent MOTHERS, FATHERS, CHILDREN he thinks its "acceptable" to die like goats on HIS SOIL!!!!
I almost swerved off the road because of the vile, repugnant, and bitter diatribe coming out of his mouth. Of course he isn't talking about HIS mother , father, or daughter - he is perfectly willing to let yours burn to death at the hands of savages.
The "soldier" is only parroting back quotes from "A Few Good Men" because he likes how he sounds when he says them. He is the perfect example of an immature mind, blitzed by drive-by media and a propensity to warp what is obvious, into a garbage filled stew of moral relativist mush. Like lemmings off a cliff, other MassHole liberals chimed in, agreeing with the madness!
Let me tell you what a REAL solider is. He is a man devoted to defending those who can't defend themselves. FIRST and FOREMOST - the lives of our citizens - against butchers who would slice off your head with a dull kitchen knife for kicks. There are thousands upon thousands of real soliders buried in graves all over the world - who died to give this guy the very free air in his lungs to spout such drivel.
In the same sense, I saw a program on WGBH by Judy Woodruff, focusing on "generation next" and their views. Even calling them "views" is giving them too much credit. The only thing this "generation" can define themselves by is - an ipod? A hundred dollar disposable gadget? That is how young people define themselves? They interviewed a guy who, when asked if he would join the military - gloated that he wouldn't fight for his country, that there is "poverty, drugs, and prostitution" on his block, and he wouldn't go to fight for that. Ah ha. It is the USA's fault that people decide to live immoral, illegal lifestyles. Another guy mumbled into a web cam video " I don't really care about what happens in the future, all I care about is that I am happy now".
Do we need government oversight, and protections? Of course. Should we let government have a blank check? No. But I trust the government more than terrorists. Liberals fear government so much, as to give terrorists the benefit of the doubt, downplay threats, and thwart defense, all the while boosting the size of government?
All of these people are ripe for destruction by a determined enemy who will feed off of their confusion and naivete. How a country was so determined, focused, and brave became this dazed and confused bunch of souls I am not exactly sure. I hope that somewhere within us, there are two real Americans for every one of these waste products. | |
